I have known and worked with Alan Brough and his team at ABA Consulting for over 20 years on various commercial and new build projects, including pub refurbishments with various extensions and structural alterations. Some of these projects were fairly complex and required a “common sense approach” to an engineering solution, which ABA delivered. Recently ABA were involved with a complex sub-terranian swimming pool project within a Grade 2 * Listed Building, which required a more sensitive solution as well as a major structural design. With the works being close to the existing building involving major excavations, ABA rose to the challenge and delivered a solution which was both practical and sensitive to the requirements and standards required of such an important building. ABA continue to work with us and deliver timely solutions, which are both practical and cost effective and not “over engineered”.
